Platform-Driven Data Economy for Manufacturing Technology Using Fine Blanking as an Example.

At two expert meetings Markus Schaltegger, head of Feintool Technologie AG, will support the WZL’s team with knowledge and our many years of experience innovating in the field of fineblanking technologies.

As an innovation driver, Feintool has been a close partner of the machine tool laboratory WZL at RWTH Aachen University for many years, and the lab is even home to a Feintool fineblanking press for research and testing purposes. “We are now delighted to have the opportunity to share our expert knowledge at next year’s Aachen Machine Tool Colloquium on May 14 and 15, 2020,” said Markus Schaltegger, head of Feintool Technologie AG and member of the Feintool Group’s Executive Board.

At two expert meetings – which will also be attended by experts from Dell, DFKI, Fujitsu, grandcentrix, Microsoft, and the chair of Technology and Innovation Management and the IT Center of RWTH University – Markus Schaltegger will support the WZL’s team with knowledge and our many years of experience innovating in the field of fineblanking technologies. The first meeting will be held on September 13, 2019, and another will follow next year before the colloquium.

At the colloquium itself, Feintool will demonstrate the possibilities of the promising “Platform-Driven Production Technology for Fineblanking Technology” and give a live demonstration using our Feintool XFT2500 speed fineblanking press.
