program for the guests
The guest list for the Open Day at the Taicang plant looked like a who’s who of the automotive and supplier industry. Numerous well-known OEMs and TIER1 suppliers accepted the invitation to the Open Day. Just like Feintool, they face the challenge of mastering the transformation of the industry towards electromobility. The 50 or so invited guests to the open day at the Taicang plant were able to see for themselves, as part of a varied programme, that Feintool already has the necessary expertise for cost-effective electric sheet metal stamping in large series production.

One milestone follows the other
What reached a first milestone in 2018 with the acquisition of Jessen, found a further highlight with the expansion of Taicang into a center of excellence for electric sheet metal stamping. The new production line, whose performance and efficiency the guests at the Open Day were able to see at close quarters, is not only an investment in Feintool’s future, but also a clear statement that Feintool aligns its technologies and products with the needs of OEMs and TIER1 suppliers. By the end of the year, the site in Jessen will also be able to comprehensively meet future market requirements.

Lions bring luck
But for the time being, it was two colorful, richly decorated lions that not only gave the audience good luck and health with their traditional dance in Taicang, but also accompanied the official inauguration of the site as an electrical sheet competence center as an auspicious ritual. Dr Bao, Director of Feintool China, then explained in his presentation why Feintool is the right partner for customers when it comes to electrical sheet technology. The targeted investments in production, quality testing and secondary processes result in ready-to-assemble parts that give the customer a decisive competitive advantage in the market. A market to which Feintool can provide innovative technical know-how wherever it is needed.
