Feintool demonstrated advance through precision at the «Hydrogen»
The Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe from October 19th to 20th, 2022 in the Bremen Exhibition Center (GER) is the most important conference and exhibition in Europe, which deals exclusively with advanced technologies for the hydrogen and fuel cell industry.
With its patented FEINforming process, the combination of fineblanking and forming, Feintool is one of the technology leaders in the production of high-quality components for bipolar plates, the central assemblies of fuel cells and electrolysers. Feintool is thus emphasizing its strategy of participating in the enormous market potential of hydrogen-powered means of transport, and the generation of sustainable energy from green hydrogen using high-quality technology solutions.
Peter Roth, Product Manager Bipolar Plates at Feintool, was very satisfied with the result of our participation in the trade fair: «The exchanges, the many new business contacts will generate exciting projects for parts production and the technology area at Feintool.» The lectures at the parallel Hydrogen specialist congress documented the high level of maturity of fuel cell technology in the mobility sector, and emphasized the focus on further development for applications in aviation and shipping.
«We received numerous well-founded questions about electrolysers, the panel sizes that we would be able to produce using the FEINforming process were of particular interest,” said Roth, adding: “Feintool’s skills in the subsequent processes of laser welding, leak testing and coating were also repeatedly in demand.»
The Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe
The fair unites representatives of the entire hydrogen value chain, who work together to develop innovative solutions for low-carbon hydrogen production. The aim is to establish hydrogen on a broad basis in everyday use for mobile and stationary applications in the future. Europe in particular would like to be able to provide large outputs as quickly as possible using electrolysis to produce green hydrogen. In addition to the exhibition, more than 150 expert lectures on the subject were held.
