German TV Channel MDR reports on Feintool’s health commitment.
On 8 February 2019, Feintool System Parts Jena presented her proven health management at the yearly media conference of the Association of Business Thuringia in Erfurt. German TV Channel MDR has been broadcasting a report in the “Journal of Thuringia”.
Bernd Decker, Feintool General Manager of Jena plant, pointed out how essential prevention and health promotion are. The company’s offer includes financial subsidies for gyms, trainings for employees, sport and health activities, tips from experts as well as safety measures.
Bernd Decker says: “We are convinced that these benefits promote the satisfaction and health of our employees and thus contribute to our long-term success. That’s why the sustainable perspective of health commitment is important to me. Also we are steadily developing the existing offer with new elements. By dialoging with our employees, we discover a great potential to enhance consciousness on health issues. With regular training programs we sensitize managers how significant the topic is. It is an integrated executive function to take seriously care of health management.”
Feintool System Parts Jena GmbH was founded in 1992 by the two companies Feintool and Jenoptik. As an automotive supplier, the production plant focuses on manufacturing fineblanked parts for gearboxes. The state-of-the-art facility employs roughly 270 people and nine apprentices.
