Feintool presents its FeinClutch technology at the CTI Symposium.
Feintool participated at the CTI Symposium in Novi, Michigan, 13-16 May with FeinClutch technology as a high-light. As the premier event for automotive transmission, HEV and EV drives the happening attracts automotive suppliers, transmission manufacturers, and OEMs from North America, Europe and Asia. CTI also featured talks on autonomous driving, NVH, and tools for performance forecasting.
At the symposium Feintool presented its FeinClutch technology: To meet automotive manufacturers growing need for lightweight and ready-to-install drivetrain components, Feintool has developed FeinClutch, a high-speed fineblanking system, that’s a real game-changer for the production of clutch/separator plates. FeinClutch enables the company to manufacture clutch plates at the speed of conventional process but with the quality of a fineblanking part. FeinClutch generates significiant savings on the individual component cost compared to a regular fineblanking process, due to the increased output. βIn the highly competitive automotive manufacturing industry, fractions of a second can mean the difference between winning and losing a lucrative multi-year contract. Feintool maintains its competitive edge by continuously refining its manufacturing processes to be as efficient and cost-effective as possible,β said Lars Reich, Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing, Feintool US Operations, Inc.
