Feintool among 238 exhibitors: The “Forum Berufsstart” took place at the Erfurt Trade Fair on November 14 and 15, 2018. Trainees and trainers from a great variety of industries presented their companies at the career orientation trade fair over the course of two days, introducing their careers and answering questions from students, parents and those seeking work.

“Strasse des Handwerks” buzzing with activity: Around 13,000 visitors came to Erfurt on November 14 and 15. Those starting their professional lives had the opportunity to experience various craft professions up close and to put their own craft skills to the test at the “Forum Berufsstart”: They styled hair, hammered and applied make-up under the careful eyes of the professionals. Experts reviewed career portfolios brought by the trainees and at specialist lectures those interested received information on topics to do with the career selection process.

In the midst of it all, the Feintool Ohrdruf location invited visitors to an informative trade fair stand and showed them the career options open to school graduates with Feintool in Ohrdruf. Toolmakers, machinists or specialists for logistics – the Feintool universe offers many exciting entry points into the career world. Jose Lopes Vicente, trainer, was with the trainees Lukas Dehm and Pascal Möller on site and explains, “Our primary goal with our appearance at the fair was to persuade as many young people as possible to pursue technical training with Feintool. The focus was on the training and development opportunities with Feintool Ohrdruf. Both I and in particular the two trainees conducted many interesting conversations and were able to enthuse soon-to-be school graduates for our career profiles. The effort was a valuable experience for the entire team.”
