Chinese New Year 2023: Year of the Rabbit.
FEINTOOL IDENTIFIES WITH THE POSITIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE RABBIT
The Lunar New Year, or Spring Festival, which falls on the new moon between January 21st and February 21st, marks the transition of the Chinese zodiac from one animal to the next. After the year of the Tiger, the year of the Rabbit begins on January 22, 2023. In Chinese culture, the rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace and prosperity. In the eyes of the people, rabbits are the friendliest and most benevolent creatures, representing cleverness, good manners, ingenuity and kindness.
In the eyes of the Chinese, the rabbit stands for wisdom, prosperity, acumen and kindness
After the last few years, which, due to the Corona pandemic, have been particularly challenging for our branches in the Far East, this year of hope, as the Chinese see it coming, is expected to set a positive sign.
Xiangjun Bao, Managing Director Feintool Precision System Parts (Taicang) Co., Ltd., also observes this forward thrust: “At this moment of transition from the old to the new year, we were able to experience with satisfaction and relief how China’s economy has started to prosper again, due to the easing of government’s Covid restrictions. Many workplaces are accessible again, and factories as well as companies are regaining their old dynamism. You can feel the joie de vivre that we traditionally attribute to the rabbit.”

And he elaborates further: “The Feintool Group is now implementing all the requirements for achieving the ‘Target 2030’ with even greater momentum. One strategic measure is the rollout of e-lamination die-cutting technology from Europe to China. True to the determined ingenuity of the rabbit, this year we will be able to install the first series production line for bipolar plates at Feintool Taicang. To do this, however, we also depend on the active support of Feintool headquarters and our sister companies. Our Chinese team will of course be highly motivated to make its contribution to the success, dynamic and active, just like a pack of tireless rabbits.”

Incidentally, the Chinese New Year is not only celebrated in China itself, but by about a quarter of the world’s population, such as in parts of Korea, Mongolia, or Bhutan. In China, it is considered the highest traditional holiday and also the most important family celebration of the entire year. Millions of people drive home for 16 days to celebrate the turn of the year with their families.
