Feintool Leadership at BlechExpo
Here are scenes from Feintool’s successful week at Europe’s leading event for sheet metal part production technology.
Feintool had a commanding position at the most recent Blechexpo, the biennial trade fair for sheet metal fabrication and forming drawing over 1,000 exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors from around the world to Stuttgart, Germany. Feintool’s stand had the most prominent place in the hall emphasizing fineblanking, positioned right at the entrance. In addition to its fineblanking leadership, the booth also showed parts illustrating Feintool’s capabilities in forming, e-lamination stamping for electric motors, and bipolar plate production for hydrogen power. A highlight of the week was a VIP evening at Feintool’s e-lamination plant in Vaihingen, where guests heard a presentation on managing through times of uncertainty and toured this state-of-the-art automated facility for producing rotors and stators.
Feintool produces 15 million fineblanked, formed and e-lamination parts every day. Blechexpo was a chance to talk to current and prospective customers about the capabilities and technology that makes this volume possible.
Parts on display demonstrated precision production successes in fineblanking, forming and e-lamination stamping.
It was not only parts on display. A die used to produce components for the Mini Cooper illustrated Feintool’s expertise in tool making.
At a VIP event in Vaihingen, Andreas Rueter, Managing Director for AlixPartners, gave a compelling talk titled “Managing Through Uncertainty.”
Guests of the VIP event saw Feintool’s sophisticated automated process for stamping, stacking and joining laminations to create rotors and stators for direct-drive automotive electric motors.
