PBCT signs practice base agreement with NWPU.

FEINTOOL TAICANG OFFERS INTERNSHIPS FOR STUDENTS AT NORTHWESTERN POLYTECHNICAL UNIVERSITY IN TAICANG

Feintool Precision System Parts (Taicang) Co., Ltd. has signed a Practice Base Agreement with the Northwestern Polytechnical University Taicang Campus in China. This agreement includes (co)designing the training content of young talents plus the option of directly employing the most innovative graduates at Feintool.

Feintool Precision System Parts (Taicang) Co., Ltd. (PBCT) is considered as one of the leading companies in the fine blanking field in the Taicang region in China, thanks to its mature production environment and advanced technology. And so, on July 1, 2022, a Practice Base Agreement was signed between the PBCT and Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU), valid until the end of June 2024. Cooperation with the latter’s Taicang campus consists of sharing resources and using as well as further developing the synergies of mutual strengths. The goal is the promotion of innovative engineering and technical talents through the development of systematic and solid specialist knowledge directly in the industry.

Talented graduates will join Feintool Taicang

PBCT will provide internships in its Taicang factory for up to ten undergraduate students every year. The development of the specific internship content at Feintool also takes place in close cooperation with the NWPU. In return, the university gives priority to recommending new graduates with a proven high level of professional matching and excellent comprehensive ability to Feintool Taicang for employment.

Cooperation with a modern university

As part of the construction of a world-class public university (“World Class University Class A of China”), the Taicang campus of the NWPU – located 45 kilometers from Shanghai Hoggiao Airport – on an area of 1184 hectares ten colleges, ten research centers and one basic course department will be built. A number of interdisciplinary innovation platforms, based on the major strategic needs of the national and regional economy, will also be established for the 10,000 students and 2,500 faculty. The focus is on developing the students’ practical skills, in particular working with leading companies in the production sector.
