What you need.
Feintool Tennessee, Inc. is a precision metal-stamping manufacturer of automotive parts. We have a full-time opportunity available for experienced Production Scheduler on 1st Shift. This is an hourly position that is eligible for overtime pay.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide on-demand manufacturing schedule to Production departments and update on a daily basis/by shift if necessary.
- Act as information resource between Production Control and Production departments.
- Review impact of releases change and communicate issues back to Production Control.
- Verify impact of releases changes with raw material vendors.
- Generate production reports for other operation departments/logistics department.
- Forecasting of production overtime requirements.
- Exercise high degree of independent decision making regarding organizing and performing work to meet customer requirements.
- Responsible for raw material/components ordering and scheduling.
- Requests and oversees inventory counts with outside vendors on monthly basis.
- Works with Logistics on shortages, etc. to ensure customer needs are met.
- Works closely with related departments to communicate any part shortages and recovery plans.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent of education and experience.
- Experience in any ERP/MRP. Plex preferred.
- Must be computer literate and have Microsoft Office experience.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
