The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for understanding current processes and helping to drive process improvements and maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity throughout the tenure of the position.聽 Problem-solving and attention to details are vital to the position.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Utilizing ERP to complete cycle counts on a weekly basis
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Completing report on cycle counts for bi-weekly meeting
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintaining product identification and location program
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Researching inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them, while working with affected departments involved during these investigations
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random audits/reconciliations
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Resolving inventory problems in a timely manner
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintaining scanners for mobile scanning
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Helping with organization of empty customer containers and/or WIP containers
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Helping maintain organization of steel coil storage area
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Completing customer container counts on weekly basis or as needed
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Helping with special customer shipments with Production Control Administrators to collect and pack parts as needed
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Helping with scrap material or return parts on supplier issues
Educational Requirements:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirement:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. as part of the job function.
Experience Requirements
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Relevant warehouse experience within the last 5 years.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Recent experience with cycle counting/inventory (Reconciliation experience a must).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be certified to operate forklift/narrow-aisle truck at current or previous company.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be computer literate and have Microsoft Office experience.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience in any ERP/MRP. Plex preferred.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, while keeping correct data.
