Forming/thickening
Feintool has further developed fineblanking technology by integrating additional processes into tools. Being able to form parts while they are still in the tool yields significant economic benefits, as complex parts can be produced straight from the tool. There is thus no need for cost-intensive finishing operations.
Specialities:
Material thickening
The material is brought to a state of flux in the tool. This increases strength and saves material.
Chimney forming
This process produces bearing and threaded sleeve bores, whose height may be many times greater than the thickness of the material.
