Top-of-the-range automatic and dual-clutch transmissions consist of up to 40 individual components, all designed as fineblanked and formed parts. Depending on the transmission, this results in less weight, a more compact design and greater precision. Fuel consumption, reliability and shift comfort are all greatly improved.
An increasing number of fineblanked and formed steel parts are also finding their way into manual transmissions. Feintool has the necessary design and production expertise for this segment too.
