Vehicle chassis contain fineblanked support plates. The specified flatness and the precision needed to accommodate the automatic welding process are essential here. The die-roll caused by the fineblanking process can be exploited to avoid having to subsequently chamfer the entire circumference of the part to make space for the weld seam.
