From family business to world market leader

Feintool founder Fritz Boesch’s experiences as a toolmaker with Italian conglomerate Olivetti shaped his life. Even back then in the 1950s, he became aware of the strong industrial demand for precision fineblanked components. With his keen perception of new needs and new markets, coupled with a pioneering spirit, the entrepreneur built the company up successively from family business to world market leader. For instance, Fritz Boesch opened fineblanking technology centres in the US and Japan back in the 1970s.

Today, Feintool is not only the market leader in fineblanking technology but also the sole global supplier of the entire fineblanking process, from engineering through tool design right through to series parts production.

The fact that Feintool has always weathered even the most difficult times well is thanks to its solid presence in Europe, North America and Asia, its exacting quality requirements and strong market position. Feintool intends to continue building on these assets in future by participating in new technologies and expanding in new markets such as China. After all, the fineblanking process, which enables cost-effective, high-precision parts to be produced in just a few manufacturing steps, is ideally suited to the high requirements and volumes  demanded by such market areas as the automotive industry.
